By using just two or three Thanker Harvest 7-8mm Bold Cardamom Pods, you release a burst of natural essential oils that completely transforms your morning cup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 2 tsp premium black tea leaves (Assam or CTC)

  • 3 Thanker Harvest Cardamom pods (gently crushed)

  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, grated

  • Sugar or jaggery to taste

Instructions

  1. Crush the Spices: Using a mortar and pestle, gently crush the Thanker Harvest cardamom pods just enough to expose the seeds. You want to keep the husk, as it holds incredible flavor!

  2. Boil the Water: In a saucepan, bring the water to a rolling boil. Add the crushed cardamom and grated ginger. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes until the water becomes fragrant and slightly golden.

  3. Brew the Tea: Add the black tea leaves and sugar. Simmer for 1 minute.

  4. Add the Milk: Pour in the milk and bring the mixture to a boil. Allow it to bubble up, then lower the heat. Repeat this "pulling" process 2-3 times for a rich, creamy texture.

  5. Serve: Strain into your favorite mug and enjoy the unmatched aroma.
